EAPLO.COM Community Guidelines
EAPLO.COM is designed for individuals seeking real and genuine activity – based connections locally and globally.
Activity (Physical and metal, all sports, board games etc.)
Social (Socializing with like-minded individuals, bars, clubs, sightseeing etc.)
Travel (Find travel partners to complete your journey, local travel guides etc.)
Our primary aim is to ensure you have a great experience while making meaningful connections. To achieve this, we require all our users to take responsibility for their conduct on our platform and how they engage with other members.
The Fundamental Principle
The most essential guideline to remember when using EAPLO.COM is:
If you wouldn’t say, do, or share something with someone on a real-life meeting, refrain from doing it here.
Before sending a message, asking a question, or share a photo, always consider if you would engage in the same behavior during an in-person meeting. If not, it’s probably not a good idea to do it online.
The Six Pillars of Online Behavior
Here are the six key principles we expect you to follow as a part of our community:
Be Honest
Be Understanding
Be Kind
Be Respectful
Be Safe
Be Genuine
Being Honest
Always be truthful and transparent when filling out your profile details. There’s no need to withhold information or exaggerate the truth about yourself to impress someone. The right person for you is out there, and being genuine is the best way to connect with them. Being dishonest, such as lying about your marital status, will eventually come to light and may lead to account removal. Be yourself; be proud of who you are. Everyone will eventually find a suitable match, so stay honest.
Tips:
Honesty is valued in the long run, and it leads to genuine connections.
Dishonesty might offer short-term gains, but it’s not sustainable.
You can’t build something special or lasting on a lie.
Consequences:
Our members are encouraged to report any suspicious or dishonest profiles. If you encounter a profile or conversation that makes you uncomfortable, please end the conversation and report it to us. We also encourage users to report any incidents that occur after meeting someone in real life where dishonesty is discovered.
Being Understanding
Always give your matched partners the benefit of the doubt. Don’t become aggressive if they don’t respond immediately. There could be various reasons for their delayed or lack of response. Approach them with an icebreaker phrase or sentence, and if there’s still no response, consider moving on. Lack of response will be flagged by our system, and repeated instances may lead to account removal.
Tips:
Use an icebreaker to initiate a conversation.
Give them time to respond.
If there’s no response, it’s okay to move on.
Consequences:
Members who frequently do not respond to messages may be removed from the platform. Users who no longer wish to be matched should deactivate and delete their profiles.
Being Kind
Treat people on EAPLO.COM as you would like to be treated. Avoid rudeness, meanness, bullying, intimidation, defamation, harassment, or stalking of other members. If someone expresses disinterest, respect their wishes. If someone blocks you, do not attempt to contact them again, even if you believe you did nothing wrong.
Tips:
Be considerate in your interactions, especially initially.
Avoid threats, hate speech, racism, or bigotry. These are not attractive and may lead to account warnings or bans.
Consequences:
Members who do not adhere to our community guidelines may be excluded from the platform.
Being Respectful
Mutual respect is the foundation of strong relationships. Avoid hate speech, obscenity, or trolling in your profile or messages. No flirty and sexy messages are acceptable; they must not contain sexual propositions or explicit content, especially at any stage of the conversation or the activity. Messages or content depicting illegal activity, commercial sexual services, human trafficking, or non-consensual sexual acts are prohibited and may result in account removal.
Tips:
Never request or share private information.
Keep sexually explicit content out of this platform
Do not upload nudity, sexually explicit, or pornographic content.
Respect the privacy and safety of minors in photos.
Consequences:
Users who engage in rude or aggressive behavior may be removed from the platform.
Being Safe
Prioritize your safety on EAPLO.COM. Interact only through the EAPLO.COM site, avoid sharing personal information too soon, and never disclose your address, email, or phone number to untrusted individuals. Be cautious of anyone asking for money, as scammers can be convincing. Only adults are allowed as members, and we will remove accounts operated by those who are not adults. If you encounter an underage member, please report their account immediately.
Tips:
Keep early interactions on the platform for safety.
Don’t pressure others into sharing personal information.
Report any situation that makes you feel unsafe.
Consequences:
Report any situation that makes you feel unsafe, whether it happens on our platform or during an in-person meeting with someone from our platform. We will respond to ensure the situation is handled appropriately.
Being Genuine
EAPLO.COM is for individuals looking for genuine activity, social or travel partners, not one-night stands, affairs, or secrecy. Our community is about being authentic, finding someone special, and starting something real. We will ban scammers, impersonators, fraudsters, and criminals and may report them to law enforcement. Avoid promoting external links, commercial messages, or using copyrighted images without permission.
Tips:
Ensure all information on your profile is accurate, including your age and height.
Use pictures of yourself and show your face clearly.
Avoid using memes or heavy filters that distort your appearance.
Consequences:
Dishonest individuals pretending to be someone they’re not may be excluded from the platform.
Behave Respectfully Online and Offline
We want our members to eventually meet, whether it’s while doing some in or outdoor activities or at one of our EAPLO.COM events. We encourage you to maintain kindness, safety, respect, and authenticity in your interactions, both online and in person. If someone you’ve met through EAPLO.COM behaves poorly or makes you uncomfortable, please report it to us, and we will do our best to assist.
Cyberbullying Has No Place Here
At EAPLO.COM, we define cyberbullying as sending repetitive messages to the same person despite not receiving a response. These messages can undermine happiness, dignity, and mental health through their repetitive and hurtful content, including insults, discrimination, defamation, or unwanted sexual content.
To combat cyberbullying, follow these rules:
Wait for the other person to respond or not, as they choose.
One reply is fine, two replies are fine, but three is too much.
Respect the other person; avoid insults, denigration, and sending unsolicited inappropriate photos.
If you receive pushy messages that make you uncomfortable, report the profile directly from your mailbox to alert our moderation and safety team. Every report will be addressed swiftly, from issuing warnings to permanently deleting the profile. You can also block a profile to prevent further contact.
Josephine, our coach, assists in preventing and detecting cyberbullying. She intervenes when too many messages are sent to the same person without a response. Josephine will help you resolve such situations and put an end to them.
